What Is a PP (Polypropylene) Filter Bag?

The PP (Polypropylene) filter bag is specifically designed for use in low-temperature applications. It offers a continuous operating temperature of up to 90°C, and demonstrates excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and hydrolysis, with good resistance to oxidation.

Like other high-performance filter bags, polypropylene filter bags undergo hydrophobic impregnation and glazing treatment during the manufacturing process. These processes give the filter surface water- and oil-repellent properties, effectively preventing sticky or oily dust from adhering to and clogging the bag.

Additionally, in systems equipped with jet pulse valves, accumulated dust on the bag surface is efficiently dislodged. Thanks to the glazed surface, the dust slides off easily and is collected at the bottom of the filtration system. This ensures optimal filtration performance and extends the lifespan of the bag.
